Terms of Service
How our reservation, delivery and payment process works.

Welcome to Olivia Hamper. By using our website or reserving a hamper, you agree to these terms. We've kept them as straightforward as we could.
About us
Olivia Hamper is an Adelaide-based small business that curates and hand-delivers premium gift hampers across Greater Adelaide. We operate as a sole trader / small business under Australian law.
How reservations work
Our service uses a Reserve + Confirm model:
- You submit a reservation through our website with hamper choice, customisations, recipient details and delivery preference.
- We confirm availability, finalise pricing (including delivery), and email you a secure Stripe payment link — typically within a few hours during business days.
- You complete payment via the Stripe link. Your hamper is only confirmed once payment is received.
- We hand-pack and deliver on your nominated date.
A reservation alone does not constitute a binding sale until payment has been processed.
Pricing
Prices shown on the website are indicative starting prices. The final price quoted in your confirmation email may vary based on:
- Items removed from the standard hamper (price reduced)
- Custom additions or substitutions (priced individually)
- Delivery zone
- Branded packaging, logo cards, or other corporate customisations
All prices include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to update pricing without notice, though confirmed payment-link prices are locked.
Delivery
We deliver across Greater Adelaide (within ~25 km of the CBD). Suburbs beyond this zone are quoted individually.
Delivery options:
- Express Daytime — via secure courier (Uber Direct or similar), weekday business hours
- Evening Hand-Delivery — personally delivered Monday–Friday, 5pm–8pm
- Saturday Hand-Delivery — personally delivered Saturday, 10am–4pm
We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays. Delivery dates are confirmed at booking but are subject to weather, traffic or other circumstances beyond our control. We'll contact you if any issue affects your nominated date.
Risk passes to the recipient on successful delivery. We take photos of every hand-delivery to confirm completion.
Substitutions
Occasionally an item may be unavailable from our suppliers (out of stock, seasonal limit). When this happens, we substitute with an item of equal or greater value and similar style — and tell you in advance whenever possible. If a substitution is not acceptable, you can request a refund for that item.
Alcohol
Hampers containing alcohol can only be delivered to recipients aged 18 or over. By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that the recipient is of legal drinking age. We may refuse delivery if there is reason to believe the recipient is underage.
Cancellations and refunds
Before payment: reservations can be cancelled at any time at no cost.
After payment:
- Cancel more than 48 hours before delivery → full refund.
- Cancel 24–48 hours before delivery → 50% refund (we've already procured items).
- Cancel less than 24 hours before delivery → no refund, but we'll do our best to reschedule.
If a hamper arrives damaged or items are missing: contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll either replace the affected items or refund proportionally. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply.
Perishable items (cheese, pâté, fresh fruit, fresh flowers) are not refundable once delivered unless faulty on arrival.
Special requests and customisations
Custom additions, dietary substitutions, branded cards and personalisation requests are confirmed in your quote email before you pay. We reserve the right to decline requests we can't fulfil at the quality we'd expect.
Card messages
We handwrite the message you provide on a premium card included with every hamper. We reserve the right to refuse messages that are offensive, hateful, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate. We'll contact you for clarification before declining.
Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, designs, branding) is the property of Olivia Hamper unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, Olivia Hamper's total liability for any claim related to a hamper is limited to the amount paid for that hamper. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or emotional damages. This does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.
Newsletter and marketing
If you've opted in to our newsletter, we'll send occasional emails about new hampers, seasonal offers and Adelaide events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes will be handled in South Australian courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with the "last updated" date. Reservations made before a change are governed by the terms in effect at that time.
